THE MAN BEHIND SILICON VALLEY We are currently producing a documentary for AMERICAN EXPERIENCE that explores the history and culture of Silicon Valley through a story about the late Robert Noyce, nicknamed “The Mayor of Silicon Valley.” He shares credit for inventing the integrated circuit or microchip, and co-founded Fairchild Semiconductor in 1957 and Intel in 1968. Leslie Berlin, author of the The Man Behind the Microchip is serving as a consultant. Randy is directing and producing the episode, and Tracy is co-producing. LORRAINE HANSBERRY DOCUMENTARY PROJECT
In association with The Filmmakers Collaborative, The Film Posse and Chiz Schultz Inc. are producing an ambitious, independent non-fiction transmedia storytelling project about the late playwright Lorraine Hansberry, best known for writing the theater classic A Raisin in the Sun. A key component of this project is a 90-minute biographical documentary that explores the artist/activist’s life from 1930 to 1965. In development/production.
